X-rays are used to get an image of the bone, roots and the areas between your teeth. X-rays are used to check for any cavities, infections and other oral care issues. There are 3 types of x-rays we use:

Panoramic X-Rays

These x-rays show a picture of the entire mouth, including your upper and lower jaws, the jaw joints and your sinuses.


An x-ray which shows the biting surfaces of your upper and lower teeth.

Peri-apical X-Rays

These are smaller x-rays placed in your mouth and is more detailed than a panoramic x-ray, as it focuses on a specific tooth.
